It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa, Richard Rimas, in his 84th year. Loving and devoted husband of Julija, dear father of Rick (Deb), Valentine (Lynda), Eugene (Chris) and Edward (Laura). Proud grandpa of 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dad was born in Kaunas Lithuania. He came to Canada in 1949 and married his most beautiful Julija on February 18, 1950. Dad loved music, nature and the cottage he built with his own hands. He will be deeply missed.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham 905-936-3477 for a celebration of Dad’s life on Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 1:00 pm until time of service in the chapel at 2:00 pm.
