Shirley, Douglas & Gordon and families. You already know how much you are going to miss this very special person you had in your life, – your Mom, Grandma & Great Grandma. I too shall miss my very special cherished friend. Not only has Enid been a great friend to me over the years, but I also had the privilege of being related to her through my Newfie husband, (the late Harry Heale).Enid’s maiden name was Cook, so was Harry’s mother’s maiden name. That is the connection. So many great times of fun and laughter we shared in days gone by. We were always welcome at her table whenever we were closeby. Having lived with them at one time, our friendship never diminished over the years because of distance. Whenever we dropped in when visiting Ontario, it was like we had never been apart, we just picked up where we left off, that is true friendship. The phone calls, such lengthy ones were special to say the least. I am sure the telephone company missed us when we could no longer have that precious contact. I shall miss her terribly but rejoice that her suffering is over and that she is at rest with our Lord. God Bless All Of You and keep the connection, stay in touch with each other. Love you. June
