Suddenly at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston on Friday October 4, 2013, Don Newton, at the age of 87 years, beloved husband of the late Barbara Bougourd, and the late Marjorie Cook (Snyder). Loving father of Donna Witlox (Herman), Allen Newton, Janine McQueen (Norman), Lynn Cook (Ken), Kathi Hall (Dave), Karen Salcedo (Al) and the late Douglas Newton. Forever in the hearts of his grandchildren; Heather (Geoff), Sara, and Kevin (Kelsey) Witlox; Kristie (Ryan), Cody (Carly) and their mother Lori Newton; Jason, Adam, Jeremy, Amanda, Diondra, Joshua, Madison, Holly, and Jenny.
Family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Sunday October 6, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel 11am Monday October 7, 2013. Interment King City Cemetery. Donations in Don’s memory to the CNIB 32002 Stn BRM B Toronto, M7Y 5R2 would be appreciated by the family.
