Peacefully at Simcoe Manor, Beeton on Wednesday January 30, 2013. Helen Strang, at the age of 87 years; beloved wife of Ronald Laing of Alliston. Loving mother of: Ronald and Sherri of Keswick, Craig and Laurie of Tottenham, Brian and Jill of Houston, Texas, and Alan and Diana of Phoenix, Arizona. Remembered with love by her 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Phyllis and Steve Seed of Alliston, Lillian and Harold Higham of Westport and predeceased by her brothers Charles, George, and Kent Strang, and her sister Marina Howser.
Friends will be received at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Thursday January 31, 2013 from 7-9pm. A memorial service will be held in Tottenham United Church, #26 Mill Street East, Tottenham on Friday February 1, 2013 at 10:30am. Donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Greater Simcoe County, P.O. Box 1414, Barrie, L4M 5R4.
