Young: Galen Ellard
At Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, Ontario on Monday March 24, 2025, Galen Ellard Young passed away peacefully surrounded by family in his 79th year. Beloved son of the late Bradford and Hazel Young. He was a loving husband to Bonnie (nee: Burling) for 58 years and cherished dad to Ann Schnack (Ingo), Gaye Ella Laufer, Bradford and Michael.
Adored Grampie to his grandchildren Isaac, Isabelle, Brady and Brooklyn. Remembered by his siblings Joan Osborne, Greta Lee, Wayne (the late Helen), Patricia Gerardi and the late Anna Lyons. Dear brother in-law to Franklin Burling, Robert Burling and Donna Ebers (Frank). Beloved uncle to 19 nieces and nephews. Forever in the heart of his extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham, (905-936-3477) on Sunday March 30, 2025, from 12pm-1:30pm immediately followed by a service. A reception will follow at the Tottenham Legion, 25 Richmond Street East, Tottenham.
