Peacefully in her home at Good Samaritan Seniors Complex Alliston, on January 20, 2024. Elizabeth Piette at the age of 91 years, beloved wife of the late Mike Wynnyk and the late Carl Piette. Loving mother of Steven (Jeanne) Wynnyk, Karen (Rick) Oldfield, and Nancy (Reg) Ross. Remembered with love by her grandchildren Kimberly (Ian), Allison (Eric), Jason (Candice), Trisha (Kyle), Amanda (Blair), Cara (Josh), and her great-grandchildren Evan, Charlotte, Mia, Jaxson, Sullivan, Beckham, Drew, Wade, and Chloe. Predeceased by her siblings George, Joe, Julius, Anne, John, and Frank. Dearly missed by Carl’s family, her stepchildren, Frank (Laura) Piette, Rosemary (Dan) Chobotiuk, Theresa (Russell) Kennedy, and Joe (Illona) Piette. Her step-grandchildren, Kayla (Paul), Ryan (Melissa), Andrew, Nolan (Nicole), Andrea (Mark), Morgan (Tyler) and predeceased by Madison (Warren) and her step-great-grandchildren, Hailey, Kyle, Dylan, Charley, Joey, Carlsyn, Scarlet, Mila and Bryton. Forever in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel at 11:30 am. For those who wish, donations in Elizabeth’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
