
Greer: Donald Winston- Peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Uxbridge Hospital at the age of 82 years. Loving father of Richard (Beth), Terry and Debbie. Beloved grandfather of Christopher( Caleigh), Rachel and Aiden. Donald is predeceased by his parents Minnie and Robert Greer. Loved son of his adoptive parents the late Evelyn and the late Fred Prothero. Dear brother to Tom Greer, Peggy Carville, Jean Langdon, the late Jack Greer, the late Sammy Greer and the late Robert Edwin Greer. Donald will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Ricky , Terry and Debbie my deepest condolences. Joe was one of my favourite people along with my Mom Jean , we loved him deeply. Mom as a young girl and I followed myself as well . I will miss his smiling eyes and gentle sole . I had a visit in the summer which JOE and I both enjoyed . I will hold that memory in my heart for the rest of my life. I,m left speechless along with fond memories at Humber Stn. Rd and Sunset Speedway. My late husband George thought very highly of Don, and my son Charlie looked up to him (even started racing at Sunset himself). There is just too much to say. We will miss his smile und unforgettable laughter.
