Luc Marc Joseph Houle
His journey on this earth is complete, Luc passed away at his home in Tottenham on October 5, 2023. Born in Hearst, Ontario on February 12, 1949, to parents Gerald (Gerry) and Luce (nee:Dallaire) Houle, Luke loved to regale everyone with colourful accounts of his early life on Wright Avenue where he grew up with his much loved brothers and sisters. He was a wonderful storyteller and was able to captivate an audience with his charm, charisma and tremendous sense of humor. Survived by his daughter Kerry and his sister Clemence, his passing will leave a void in their lives forever. He was a grandfather, great grandfather and wonderful friend. Known to many as Uncle Luc, his nieces and nephews will remember him with great fondness and respect. The many friends he leaves behind will never forget the role he played in each of their lives. The annual Boy’s Weekend, an event he looked forward to, will never quite be the same. Predeceased by both his parents, Luc has moved on to join them as well as his brothers Fern, Roger, Rene and sisters Marie Anne and Suzanne. A Celebration of Luc’s life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 1:30pm-4:00pm. Friends and family will gather together to share their stories of him at the Tottenham Legion (25 Richmond Street East, Tottenham, Ontario). For those who wish donations in Luc’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences and memories may be left for the family at www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com.

A good friend once,
A while ago.
Tides do change,
As the winds blow.
To see now what was lost,
Leaves a void that has a cost.
Until we meet once again,
All I can say is Amen.

I send my deepest sympathy in this time of sorrow. The Bible promises that your loved one will live again on a beautiful paradise earth when death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4)
