I had the honour of knowing Moe and working with him at the golf course for over fifteen years . He had a great sense of humour and we could banter back and forth . Everyone respected Moe even though he cheered for the Habs .He was a gentle man who always be remembered. Rest in peace

Well, where to start. Moe was simple an amazing person, and was truly the kind of guy that if you asked him for his help he would lend a hand where he could. He was mine and Gord’s dad and my mother’s sweetheart best friend, Rory Adair, they were inseparable. They enjoyed their golf games and their hockey games and always had ongoing battles about the Habs and the Leafs. Moe was a huge part of my family growing up, not only was he my dad’s best friend but he was like an uncle to my brother and I. I will always remember Christmas breakfasts and gift opening and thanksgiving dinners together. You will forever be in our heart and we will miss you. You are now reunited with my dad, exactly how it should be, say hi to my dad for me and tell him we love and miss him dearly, just as we will miss you.
God Bless and our condolences from Gord, Tammy, Laureen and of course his pal Barney.

MOE……to me MOE was a long time friend. We played hockey and golf together, along with Rory Adair, his constant companion. Both of them were practical jokers and you never knew what was going to happen at the rink or on the course.
I believe MOE had the upper hand. Always ready for a good conversation when we met at the grocery store or the coffee shop.
He will be much missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
MOE will be reunited with Rory, the way it should be.
My condolences to the family.

To the Clifford Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Moe’s passing. Moe was one of the originals in our Mississauga old-timer hockey league, a great skater and even better player. I think he enjoyed being with the hockey guys more than anything and he was always involved in some antics in the dressing room. I talked to him on the phone a couple of weeks ago & I knew he didn’t sound good. He was so well liked by everyone which tells you something about Moe. Rory & him were like brothers & will be together again.
RIP Moe, you left us with many great memories

Community treasures are never forgotten! Moe was certainly one of Tottenham’s treasures (& Beeton’s as well), both on and off the ice. Always a gentleman, respectful and kind to others! Moe was magic on the ice. I loved to watch him play with my brother Gary. Moe was fortunate to be able to continue playing hockey well into his mid 70’s. I asked Moe to join a team that I was on just a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, it wasn’t going to work for him. I would have loved to skate alongside my childhood idle.
My sincere condolences to the entire Clifford family for your loss. Our world has lost a good man. I am so honored to have grown up with Moe in Tottenham, and he will always have a very special home in my heart.
Rest in peace Moe!

Moe was a great friend of our family and just a great guy ! I’ll miss his laugh the most !! I’ll hold many fond memories including him coaching my hockey team with Dad many many years ago. I’ll remember his broad shoulders after his junior hockey days when in his prime. He could come inside after a rainstorm and his back and chest would be dry, but shoulders were soaked…never seen anything like that before or after ! Keep your stick on the ice Moe !!
